Grace Elizabeth the southern girl from Lake City, Florida that it’s conquering the fashion industry and quickly becoming one of the highest requested models in the industry, for the past five years. I know that we’re late to the party and it’s no surprise how much this model has grown. It’s astounding how fast she’s becoming one of the top models in our times. Appearing in campaigns for everyone from Victoria’s Secret to Chanel to Gap, walked in countless runways, and appeared on every major magazine cover you can imagine.
Her drive, determination, and professionalism are just a few of the things that are making her leave her mark in the world of fashion. She started as the face of Guess advertising, following in the footsteps of icons such as Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith and Laetitia Casta.
Born in March 18, 1997, she’s 21, with a height of 1.76m/5ft 9.5in, hair color brown and hazel eyes, this girl won the genetic lottery. Mostly known for her work as a spokesmodel for Victoria’s Secret sub-brand PINK. Grace is a marvelous person with a goofy, maybe even dorky personality, who just happens to be a supermodel.
At first, she was just doing small local stuff, until she signed with her mother agency, Next, when she was only 17. After her senior year she started traveling to New York more often. However, her career took off not in New York but Paris, when she booked a spot in the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week in 2016.
Her portfolio and experience are unmeasurable. She has walked for high fashion designers Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, Dolce & Gabbana, Alberta Ferretti, Max Mara, Fendi, Versace, Moschino, Stella McCartney, Elie Saab, Balmain, Chanel, etc. Just to name a few.
She has appeared in editorials for American, British, French, Italian, Japanese, German, Spanish, Chinese, Mexican and Russian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Italian and Mexican Elle, Interview Magazine, V Magazine, W Magazine and Love Magazine, also just to name a few.
Worked with high fashion leading photographers becoming a regular subject for them, a few of these are Inez & Vinoodh, Patrick Demarchalier, Bruce Webber, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and many others.
This girl doesn’t know the word vacation. Maybe one of the huge steps in her career was walking for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2016, not only was her first-time walking but she also opened the PINK segment, since she has opened the segment three times in a row. After that day, her social media followers count exploded, nearly 50k people started following her on Instagram and that was just the beginning. I can certainly say and with much confidence confirm that there is no model like her, with such an exponential growth she’s just unstoppable. This girl is making her way to become one of the most successful models in the history. Her catwalk and editorial work are amazing.
Maybe, the most amazing thing about Grace it’s not how quickly she has become one of the modeling world’s most in-demand stars, but how humble she’s about it and doesn’t let it go to her head. Thanks in large part to her friends and family. She confirmed with W magazine:
They are very supportive, and they don’t quite get it, but I’m still the same person when I started and my personality hasn’t changed much, when I go home, my grandma puts me to work. She’s like, ‘Can you change my curtain rod?’ They call me Miss Hollywood every now and then, but they treat me the same.
In 2018 she announced by far the most exclusive and best collaboration she’s ever been in, becoming the new muse for Estée Lauder. A dream contract deal with one of the most influential and greatest beauty makeup brands.
You may ask yourself, what’s next for her? She has done everything, and some may think that an eventual transition into acting it’s the next step, however Grace has a different opinion:
I have had an [acting] audition before, and it’s really crazy because it really is like what you see in the movies; there are people playing instruments or rapping with each other and then you have people fake crying in the hallway, Then you go in and there’s a chair with a lamp and you have to jump into it. It was quite a shock. With modeling, we are kind of acting in a way without words, but when you add words into it and have to do these small gestures, it’s quite a big difference. You definitely have to take classes.
She confirmed to W magazine.
But first, there’s plenty more modeling to be done.
It’s a crazy lifestyle, but eventually it’s just your norm, I plan on staying on this until the wrinkles come, and even then, hopefully there is some magical cream that has been invented.
We’re sure even when the wrinkles appear and she has done everything in the fashion industry, we still won’t have enough of her.
This is Grace Elizabeth ladies and gentlemen; her star is unquestionably on the rise.
